Couples Counseling

In my work with couples, we typically build communication skills, clarify wants & needs, address hurts from the past, learn how to speak each other’s “love language”, and much more. We frequently work using concepts from the Gottmans’ Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Finally, addressing heart posture is important. A relationship that is about giving freely, rather than giving to get, is usually far more successful over the long term.

More About Me
My name is Luke and I’m a professional therapist located in Loveland, Colorado. I help individuals overcome mental health problems and life challenges using evidence-based therapy modalities. My approach is compassionate and direct—ideal for clients who are ready to face hard truths and create meaningful change.
Growth and healing often involves changing the little details in our lives that create the biggest problems. Real transformation happens when we work together to challenge old patterns, embrace new perspectives, and take courageous steps toward the life you’ve always wanted.
Each person is unique, so my first priority is understanding who you are and what you hope to achieve. Our therapy will be tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Most clients gain clarity on their path within the first session, and from there, we work together to take meaningful steps toward lasting growth and fulfillment.
Our work together will be a collaborative process where you feel heard, challenged, and supported. In the early sessions, we'll focus on gaining clarity about your goals and identifying obstacles in your path. From there, we'll take meaningful steps toward personal growth and fulfillment. Our therapy is about discovering your strengths, finding direction, and building the life you want.
Book a consult with me if you're ready for life to get better. No matter who you are, I'd be happy to hear your story and outline a "proposed plan" for treatment. Anybody’s life can change, there is always hope.
